Note: This page reflects FlorInnce's intended policies during the launch period. Some details are subject to change as we finalize the platform.

Plain language

Rent is billed in biweekly cycles. Security-deposit limits depend on the total length of the stay, and failed renewal payments can result in daily late fees beginning on day 3.

  • For stays from 1 through 14 weeks, the maximum security deposit is 2 weeks’ rent
  • For stays longer than 14 weeks, the maximum security deposit is 4 weeks’ rent
  • Each new biweekly cycle is charged automatically at 12:00 a.m. on day 1 of that cycle
  • If payment remains unresolved, a $50 daily late fee begins at 12:00 a.m. on day 3

Payment Processing and Funds Handling

Booking payments are processed through Stripe. FlorInnce may collect security deposits and rent, delay transfer of specified amounts to a landlord, and issue scheduled disbursements or refunds according to these policies. These arrangements are part of FlorInnce’s contractual booking and payment process, governed entirely by these published policies and the FlorInnce Terms of Service. FlorInnce is not a bank or trust company, and Stripe’s role is limited to payment processing.

Biweekly Billing

Rent is billed in repeating 14-day cycles. The payment for each new cycle is automatically charged to the tenant’s primary card on file at 12:00 a.m. on day 1 of that cycle. FlorInnce may attempt the tenant’s backup card if the primary payment method fails.

Security-Deposit Limits

  • Stays from 1 week through 14 weeks: the landlord may require a security deposit of no more than 2 weeks’ rent.
  • Stays longer than 14 weeks: the landlord may require a security deposit of no more than 4 weeks’ rent.

Standard Security-Deposit Return

After checkout, the landlord has 14 days to inspect the property and submit a documented damage claim. After that claim period ends, FlorInnce has 5 business days to disburse the remaining or adjusted security-deposit refund to the tenant. Any deduction is subject to the documentation requirements and applicable law.

Failed Payments and Late Fees

If an automated cycle payment due at 12:00 a.m. on day 1 does not process successfully, the tenant has through 11:59 p.m. on day 2 to resolve the balance. If the balance remains unpaid, a $50 daily late fee is assessed at 12:00 a.m. on day 3. An additional $50 late fee is assessed at 12:00 a.m. on day 4 and on each subsequent day that the balance remains unresolved, including day 5 and any later day.

Beginning at 12:00 a.m. on day 5, the landlord may exercise any right available under the rental agreement and applicable law to recover possession of the premises. FlorInnce does not itself conduct an eviction or authorize any unlawful removal. If the tenant remains after the required departure time, prorated daily rent may continue to accrue.

Collection of Late Fees and Other Amounts

FlorInnce may charge late fees to the tenant’s primary or backup card or deduct permitted amounts from the security deposit. Collected late fees are remitted to the landlord, less applicable Stripe processing fees. Late fees accrued on days 3, 4, and 5 total $150. Prorated rent for occupied days and documented damage charges may also be deducted from the security deposit to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If FlorInnce cannot collect late fees, prorated rent, or damage amounts using the payment methods or security deposit available on the platform, collection is the landlord’s responsibility. FlorInnce does not provide legal advice or collection assistance.

Information Sharing for Collection

When a tenant reaches the maximum late-charge threshold established for the booking, or when documented amounts exceed funds held by FlorInnce, FlorInnce may provide the landlord with the tenant’s name and available contact information—including mailing address, email address, and telephone number—solely to support lawful independent collection. Damage claims exceeding the security deposit remain the landlord’s responsibility.

Plain language

The First-Day Check-In Guarantee gives a tenant a short review window for serious habitability problems or gross misrepresentation discovered at arrival.

  • At the 3:00 p.m. check-in on day 1, the landlord receives 48 hours of rent, less applicable platform and Stripe fees
  • The tenant must submit a claim by 10:00 a.m. on day 2
  • Eligible claims involve serious habitability problems or at least 5 major listing misrepresentations
  • FlorInnce reviews the claim upon submission

Initial Payment to Landlord

At the scheduled 3:00 p.m. check-in time on day 1, FlorInnce disburses to the landlord an amount equal to 48 hours of rent paid by the tenant, less applicable FlorInnce platform fees and Stripe processing fees.

Claim Deadline

The tenant must submit a First-Day Check-In Guarantee (“CIG”) claim through FlorInnce no later than 10:00 a.m. on day 2. Claims submitted after this deadline are not eligible for CIG review but may qualify under Standard Cancellation Protection or Assignment Cancellation Protection, where applicable.

Eligible Claims

A CIG claim must allege and document either: (a) a serious habitability condition, such as a pest infestation, substantial mold, flooding, or another condition that makes the premises unlivable; or (b) gross misrepresentation of the listing, meaning at least 5 material differences between the listing and the property as delivered, such as bed size, promised amenities, or other major advertised features. Claims are evaluated under FlorInnce’s separate CIG claim rubric.

Review and Departure

FlorInnce reviews timely CIG claims upon submission. If approved, the tenant may leave on day 3 by the property’s stated checkout time, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. as selected by the landlord, to be eligible for refund.

Approved Refund

Following approval and timely checkout, FlorInnce refunds the tenant the first cycle payment plus the security deposit, minus 2 days stayed, subject to the standard checkout process and any disclosed non-refundable fees.

Security Deposit

An approved CIG claim entitles the tenant to return of the security deposit, subject to the standard checkout process. The landlord has 14 days after checkout to submit a documented damage claim unrelated to the approved CIG condition. FlorInnce then has 5 business days after the claim period ends to disburse the remaining or adjusted security-deposit refund.

Denied Claims

If FlorInnce does not approve the CIG claim, the tenant remains eligible to use Standard Cancellation Protection or Assignment Cancellation Protection if the applicable requirements are satisfied.

Plain language

Cancellation rules depend on whether the booking is confirmed, how far away check-in is, and whether the stay has begun.

  • Before booking confirmation: Either party may cancel at no cost; no funds, penalties, fees, or documentation requirements apply
  • 7 or more days before check-in: The full cycle payment and full security deposit are returned, less the non-recoverable Stripe processing fee
  • Less than 7 days before check-in: The full cycle payment is refunded; if a security deposit was collected, 50% goes to the landlord and 50% is returned to the tenant, less the non-recoverable Stripe processing fee
  • Give notice by 11:59 p.m. on day 12 to avoid being charged for the next cycle

Stage 1 — Pre-Confirmation Cancellation

A booking may be cancelled by either party at no cost prior to booking confirmation. No funds are collected prior to confirmation. No penalties, fees, or documentation requirements apply.

Stage 2 — Post-Confirmation, Pre-Check-In Cancellation

For cancellations initiated by the tenant after booking confirmation but before check-in, the full cycle payment is refunded. Cancellation penalties apply exclusively to the security deposit as follows:

  • 7 or more days prior to check-in: Full cycle payment refunded. Full security deposit returned to the tenant, if applicable.
  • Less than 7 days prior to check-in: Full cycle payment refunded. If a security deposit was collected, 50% is forfeited to the landlord and the remaining 50% is returned to the tenant.

In all cases, Stripe’s payment-processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 is non-recoverable and will be deducted from the refund amount.

ACP exception: A qualifying professional-assignment cancellation supported by eligible documentation submitted by the ACP pre-check-in deadline receives the rent and security-deposit treatment stated in the Assignment Cancellation Protection section.

Stage 3 — Post-Check-In Standard Cancellation

To end a stay under Standard Cancellation Protection (“SCP”) at the end of the current biweekly cycle, the tenant must notify FlorInnce through the platform no later than 11:59 p.m. on day 12 of that cycle. With timely notice, the tenant is not charged on day 15 for the next cycle and must check out by 10:00 a.m. on day 15.

Security-Deposit Penalty

A tenant using SCP forfeits 50% of the security deposit to the landlord, less applicable Stripe processing fees. The remainder of the security deposit remains subject to the standard post-checkout damage-review process.

Bookings Without a Security Deposit

If the landlord did not require a security deposit, an SCP cancellation fee applies instead. For a total booked stay of 1 through 14 weeks, the fee is 1 week’s rent. For a total booked stay longer than 14 weeks, the fee is 2 weeks’ rent. FlorInnce will attempt to charge the primary card and any backup card on file and remit collected funds to the landlord, less applicable Stripe and platform fees.

If the payment methods on file fail, collection of the SCP cancellation fee is the landlord’s responsibility. FlorInnce may provide the landlord with the tenant’s name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number for lawful independent collection. FlorInnce does not provide legal advice or collection assistance.

Late Notice

If notice is submitted after 11:59 p.m. on day 12—including notice on day 13—the tenant is charged on day 15 for the next full 2-week cycle and the applicable SCP penalty still applies. The tenant may remain through the paid cycle or may check out earlier, but must leave no later than 10:00 a.m. on day 1 of the following cycle.

Once the tenant officially checks out, the tenant may not return to or reoccupy the property to use any remaining paid days in that cycle.

Damage Amounts Beyond Available Deposit

If documented damage exceeds the security-deposit funds remaining after the SCP penalty, collection of the excess amount is the landlord’s responsibility. FlorInnce may provide the tenant information described above to support lawful independent collection.

Deposit Return After Checkout

After checkout, the landlord has 14 days to inspect the property and submit a documented damage claim. FlorInnce then has 5 business days after the claim period ends to send the remaining or adjusted security-deposit refund to the tenant.

Final Billing Cycle

The final scheduled billing cycle of a booking is not eligible for SCP or Assignment Cancellation Protection.

Plain language

When a staffing assignment is cancelled and valid documentation is submitted, ACP may provide a pre-check-in refund or allow the tenant to end the booking at a billing-cycle boundary without the Standard Cancellation Protection deposit penalty.

  • Before check-in: submit eligible proof by 11:59 p.m. two calendar days before check-in for a refund of all rent paid and the full security deposit; Stripe’s processing fee remains non-recoverable
  • Submit valid assignment-cancellation documentation by 11:59 p.m. on day 12 for FlorInnce review
  • With approval before the cutoff, leave by 10:00 a.m. on day 15 and avoid the next cycle charge
  • Approved ACP returns the full security deposit, subject to the standard damage-claim workflow

Eligibility and Documentation

Assignment Cancellation Protection (“ACP”) applies when the tenant’s qualifying professional assignment is cancelled and the tenant submits valid supporting documentation through FlorInnce. Documentation must be sufficient to confirm the cancellation and is subject to FlorInnce review.

Pre-Check-In Assignment Cancellation

If the qualifying assignment is cancelled before check-in, the tenant must submit eligible documentation no later than 11:59 p.m. two calendar days before the scheduled check-in date. For example, for a January 3 check-in at 3:00 p.m., documentation is due January 1 at 11:59 p.m. With timely submission and approval, FlorInnce will refund all rent paid and the full security deposit. Stripe’s payment-processing fee remains non-recoverable.

Documentation submitted after this pre-check-in deadline is not eligible for the ACP pre-check-in full-refund treatment and is instead governed by the otherwise applicable pre-check-in cancellation rules.

Timely Filing During a Stay

To avoid the next biweekly charge, the tenant must submit valid documentation no later than 11:59 p.m. on day 12 of the current cycle. This deadline provides FlorInnce up to 2 days to review the submission before the next cycle begins.

With timely submission and approval, the tenant may check out by 10:00 a.m. on day 15 and will not be charged on day 15 for the next cycle.

Security Deposit

An approved ACP cancellation does not carry the 50% SCP penalty. The tenant is eligible for return of the full security deposit, subject to deductions for separately documented property damage under the standard security-deposit workflow.

Documentation Submitted After the Cutoff

If valid documentation is submitted after 11:59 p.m. on day 12—including on day 13—the tenant is charged on day 15 for the next full 2-week cycle but remains eligible for the ACP security-deposit protection after approval. The tenant may remain through the paid cycle or check out earlier, but must leave no later than 10:00 a.m. on day 1 of the following cycle.

Once the tenant officially checks out, the tenant may not return to or reoccupy the property to use any remaining paid days in that cycle.

Deposit Return After Checkout

After checkout, the landlord has 14 days to inspect the property and submit a documented damage claim. FlorInnce then has 5 business days after the claim period ends to return the remaining or adjusted security deposit to the tenant.

Final Billing Cycle

The final scheduled billing cycle of a booking is not eligible for ACP or SCP.

Plain language

FlorInnce reviews claims using the protection that matches the timing and reason for departure.

  • Arrival-related habitability or gross-misrepresentation claims follow the First-Day Check-In Guarantee deadline and rubric
  • Voluntary early departures follow Standard Cancellation Protection
  • Verified assignment cancellations follow Assignment Cancellation Protection
  • Damage claims follow the 14-day landlord review period and 5-business-day disbursement timeline

Submitting a Claim

Claims must be submitted through the FlorInnce platform within the deadline for the applicable protection. The claimant must provide a written description and all reasonably available supporting evidence, which may include photographs, video, communications, receipts, professional reports, or assignment-cancellation documentation.

First-Day Check-In Guarantee Claims

Claims concerning serious habitability conditions or gross listing misrepresentation discovered at arrival must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on day 2 and are reviewed under the First-Day Check-In Guarantee and its separate claim rubric. A gross-misrepresentation claim requires at least 5 material listing differences. FlorInnce reviews timely claims upon submission.

Other Cancellations

A voluntary early departure that is not approved under the First-Day Check-In Guarantee or Assignment Cancellation Protection is governed by Standard Cancellation Protection. A verified professional-assignment cancellation is governed by Assignment Cancellation Protection. The deadlines, charges, security-deposit treatment, and departure times stated in those sections control.

Damage Claims

After checkout, a landlord has 14 days to submit a documented claim for damage beyond normal wear and tear. FlorInnce has 5 business days after that period ends to disburse the remaining or adjusted security deposit. FlorInnce may request additional documentation from either party before deciding how funds held on the platform should be disbursed.

Cooperation and Fraud

Users must cooperate with reasonable requests for information. False, altered, misleading, or fabricated evidence may result in claim denial, account suspension or termination, forfeiture of applicable platform protections, and any other remedy permitted by law.

Scope of FlorInnce Review

FlorInnce’s review determines eligibility for platform protections and the disposition of funds controlled by FlorInnce. It is not a court judgment or a substitute for legal remedies available to either party. FlorInnce is not responsible for locating or paying for replacement housing.

Plain language

FlorInnce verifies eligible traveler credentials or background-check completion where described below. FlorInnce does not currently independently verify host identity, property ownership, or management authority before activating a listing.

  • Nurses are verified through Nursys, the official nurse licensure verification system
  • Other licensed healthcare professionals may be checked through applicable licensing boards or credentialing bodies
  • Non-healthcare travelers must complete a third-party background check before their first booking
  • Hosts must provide accurate information and represent that they have authority to list the property, but FlorInnce does not currently independently confirm that representation

Healthcare Professional Verification

Registered nurses and licensed practical nurses are checked through Nursys, the national nurse licensure verification system operated by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. A check may confirm license status, license type, and disciplinary information available through the service at the time of review. Nursys verification confirms licensure information only and is not a criminal background check. FlorInnce does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party licensing data.

Other licensed healthcare professionals—including physical therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, radiologic technologists, pharmacists, and physician assistants—may be checked through the applicable state licensing board or national credentialing body. FlorInnce may request supplemental documentation when automated information is unavailable. Licensure verification is not a criminal background check.

Non-Healthcare Traveler Background Checks

Travelers who are not licensed healthcare professionals must complete a background check through a third-party screening provider before their first booking. The third-party provider administers the screening. FlorInnce does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or results of a background check. Completion or passing of a check is not a warranty of a traveler’s character, safety, or suitability. Hosts should conduct any independent due diligence they consider appropriate before confirming a booking.

Current Host Verification Process

FlorInnce does not currently require hosts to complete independent identity verification or submit documentation proving property ownership or authorized management authority before a listing is activated. A host who creates a listing represents and warrants that all submitted identity, contact, property, and listing information is accurate and that the host owns the property or otherwise has all permission and legal authority necessary to advertise and rent it.

FlorInnce’s acceptance or activation of a listing is not a verification, certification, endorsement, or guarantee of the host’s identity, ownership, management authority, trustworthiness, or the property’s condition. Travelers should perform their own reasonable due diligence before booking. FlorInnce may request information or documentation, investigate a listing, suspend or remove a listing, or restrict an account if concerns arise, but is not obligated to conduct independent host or property verification unless required by applicable law.

Data Use

Verification and screening information may be used for account administration, eligibility review, platform safety, fraud prevention, policy enforcement, dispute resolution, and legal compliance, as further described in the Privacy Policy.

Plain language

Before a listing goes live on FlorInnce, hosts must disclose and certify the following details. This information is provided by the host — FlorInnce does not independently inspect properties.

  • Mattress firmness disclosed on every listing (firm, medium, or soft)
  • Accurate, recent photos that genuinely represent the unit
  • Neighborhood safety scores provided by CrimeGrade — see Safety Data Disclaimer in Terms of Service
  • Neighborhood and surrounding area shown on Google Maps for every listing

Required Listing Disclosures

Prior to activation of any listing, hosts must certify via the FlorInnce host portal that the following information is accurately disclosed:

  • The primary sleeping surface is in good structural condition. Mattress firmness (firm, medium, or soft) must be accurately disclosed.
  • All listing photos are recent, accurate, and representative of the property's current condition. Misleading, staged, or outdated photos are prohibited.
  • All amenities listed are present and functional at the time of activation.
  • Pet and smoking policies are clearly disclosed prior to listing activation.

FlorInnce does not independently inspect, audit, or verify properties prior to listing activation. Neighborhood safety scores are sourced from the CrimeGrade API and are subject to the Safety Data Disclaimer in the Terms of Service. The Google Maps view of the surrounding neighborhood is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a verified commute time or a computed distance to any hospital.

Prohibited Fees

Hosts may not charge cleaning fees, administrative fees, or any fee not reflected in the nightly rate shown on the listing. The nightly rate displayed is the total rate charged to the traveler, exclusive of applicable taxes.

Communication Policy

All host-traveler communication must occur through the FlorInnce messaging platform. Hosts may not solicit contact information, direct payment, or agreement to off-platform terms through any channel. Violation constitutes grounds for immediate listing removal and account termination.

Accuracy Obligation

Hosts are legally responsible for the accuracy of all information in their listings. Material misrepresentation — including inaccurate photos, false amenity claims, or failure to disclose known deficiencies — constitutes grounds for dispute resolution in the traveler's favor, withholding or reversal of booking funds still controlled by FlorInnce where permitted, and potential legal liability.

Habitability Obligation

Hosts are solely responsible for maintaining their properties in a safe, habitable condition throughout the duration of any active booking. Failure to remediate a verified habitability issue within 24 hours of notification by FlorInnce constitutes grounds for booking cancellation, withholding or reversal of funds still controlled by FlorInnce where permitted, and account review. Repeated verified habitability failures may result in permanent removal from the platform.

Voluntary Reimbursement for Habitability Cancellations

In the event of a verified habitability claim resulting in early termination, FlorInnce may request voluntary reimbursement of unused nightly rates already disbursed on behalf of the traveler. Hosts are not contractually obligated to comply, but repeated refusals of verified claims may result in listing suspension or account review. Hosts who voluntarily reimburse travelers in verified habitability cases will have the reimbursement noted positively in their account standing.

Ongoing Compliance

FlorInnce reserves the right to de-list any property at any time based on traveler dispute outcomes, complaints, or inspection results. Hosts whose listings generate repeated disputes or verified inaccuracy findings may be permanently removed from the platform.

Plain language

We collect only what we need to run the platform. We don't sell your data.

  • We collect your name, contact information, payment details, and verification documents to process bookings and verify identity
  • We collect usage data (searches, bookings, messages) to operate and improve the platform
  • Messages between travelers and hosts are sent and stored within FlorInnce’s platform and may be reviewed by authorized FlorInnce administrators. Email notifications may include some or all of the message content
  • Your payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — FlorInnce never stores account or card numbers

Information We Collect

FlorInnce Inc. collects the following categories of personal information:

  • Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and account credentials.
  • Verification data: Professional license numbers, licensing board verification records, and background check results, as applicable to your user type.
  • Payment information: Payment method details are collected and processed by Stripe, Inc. FlorInnce does not store account or card numbers.
  • Booking data: Assignment location, hospital name, stay dates, and correspondence with hosts through the FlorInnce messaging system.
  • Message content: All messages sent between travelers and hosts through FlorInnce's in-platform messaging system, including the content of each message and associated metadata (timestamps, sender, recipient, and booking reference).
  • Usage data: Search queries, listing views, device type, browser type, and IP address, collected through standard server logs and analytics tools.

How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used to: (a) create and maintain your account; (b) process and fulfill bookings; (c) verify identity and professional credentials; (d) communicate with you regarding bookings, disputes, and platform updates; (e) improve platform features and safety; and (f) comply with applicable law.

Messaging & Communications Monitoring

FlorInnce operates an in-platform messaging system for communications between travelers and hosts. Messages are stored directly in FlorInnce’s database as part of the account and booking record. When a new message is sent, FlorInnce may send the recipient an email notification containing some or all of the message content and a prompt to log in and reply. Depending on the notification’s configuration and the information included by the sender, the email may contain personal or booking-related information. Users are responsible for maintaining the security and privacy of their email accounts.

By creating an account, using FlorInnce, or submitting information through the platform, you acknowledge and agree that authorized FlorInnce administrators may access, view, review, store, and monitor: (a) messages exchanged through the platform; (b) account email addresses and other contact information; (c) profile, verification, listing, booking, payment-status, and claim information; and (d) any other personal information or content submitted, uploaded, entered, or shared through FlorInnce. FlorInnce may use this access to operate and support the platform, communicate with users, detect and prevent fraud, enforce platform policies, investigate safety concerns or policy violations, maintain booking and claim records, comply with legal obligations, and evaluate or resolve disputes, including damage, CIG, SCP, and ACP claims.

FlorInnce does not use message content for advertising, targeting, or any purpose outside of those listed above. Automated review (such as detection of phone numbers, off-platform payment app references, or other policy-relevant content) may occur on all messages. Manual review by FlorInnce personnel is generally limited to messages flagged through automated review or messages relevant to an active dispute, safety report, or claim.

FlorInnce reserves the right to review any message at any time for the purposes described above, and to suspend or permanently terminate the account of any user found to be using the messaging system to harass or abuse another user, or to solicit, coerce, or pressure another user into conducting business off-platform or through a different service. This applies regardless of whether the conduct is also flagged by automated review.

Disclosure Between Tenants and Landlords

For the purpose of investigating, documenting, mediating, or resolving a booking-related dispute, claim, payment issue, property-damage matter, policy violation, safety concern, or lawful collection matter, FlorInnce may disclose relevant information to the tenant or landlord involved. Such information may include messages, email addresses, names, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, booking records, photographs, documents, claim evidence, and other personal information submitted to the platform, when FlorInnce determines that disclosure is reasonably necessary for that purpose and permitted by applicable law. FlorInnce may withhold or redact information when appropriate for safety, privacy, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of another person’s rights.

By creating an account, using FlorInnce, or participating in a booking, each user acknowledges and agrees to this administrator access and dispute-related disclosure. This consent applies to information the user submits directly and information generated through use of the platform, subject to applicable law.

Other Data Sharing

FlorInnce does not sell or rent personal data. FlorInnce may also share data: (a) with Stripe and other service providers as necessary to process payments and operate the platform; (b) with verification partners, including Nursys and background-check providers, as necessary to complete verification; (c) with a tenant or landlord as necessary to fulfill a confirmed booking; (d) with professional advisers, insurers, investigators, or vendors supporting a claim or dispute; and (e) as required or permitted by applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process.

Data Retention & Deletion

Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to 3 years following account closure, as required for legal and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting support@florinnce.com. Certain data may be retained beyond this period where required by law.

Security

FlorInnce employs industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for data in transit and encryption at rest for sensitive stored data. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach or unauthorized disclosure, FlorInnce will notify affected users as required by applicable law and take reasonable steps to mitigate harm, but FlorInnce's liability for any such breach is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Users assume residual risk inherent to any online platform.

California Residents

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of sale of personal information. FlorInnce does not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact support@florinnce.com.

Plain language

By using FlorInnce, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all referenced policies, and to use the platform honestly and in good faith. The short version:

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information and verification documents
  • FlorInnce is a marketplace — we're not a party to the rental agreement between travelers and hosts
  • FlorInnce provides in-platform messaging, and email notifications may include message content. Authorized FlorInnce administrators may review messages and other personal information submitted to the platform for operations, safety, support, fraud prevention, policy enforcement, and dispute resolution

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, using FlorInnce, submitting information to the platform, or completing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all policies incorporated by reference, including the Privacy Policy’s provisions concerning administrator access to messages and personal information, email notifications containing message content, and disclosure of relevant information to tenants or landlords for dispute resolution. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create a FlorInnce account. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Account Accuracy

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of all account information, including identity, contact details, and professional credentials. Submitting false or misleading information — including misrepresenting your professional status to avoid a background check — constitutes fraud and grounds for immediate termination and potential legal action.

Platform Role

FlorInnce is a marketplace that facilitates connections between travelers and hosts. FlorInnce is not a party to any rental agreement between a traveler and a host and does not assume liability for the condition, safety, or suitability of any listed property beyond the dispute and damage protections described in these policies.

Property Damage — Scope of FlorInnce's Liability

FlorInnce's liability for property damage caused by a traveler during or after a stay is expressly limited to the amount of the security deposit held through FlorInnce’s booking-payment process, where applicable. FlorInnce's role in damage claims is limited to the following:

  • Upon receipt of a valid itemized damage claim submitted by the host through the FlorInnce platform, FlorInnce will release the security deposit — in full or in part, based on the documented claim — to the host.
  • For damage discovered during the stay, the host may submit a claim at any time during the active booking. For damage discovered after checkout, the itemized claim must be submitted within 14 days of the traveler's checkout date, or up to 30 days where required by applicable state law.
  • All damage claims must include a written description of each damaged item, an estimated or invoiced repair or replacement cost, and supporting photo or video documentation.
  • FlorInnce will review the submitted claim and release the applicable portion of the security deposit within up to two weeks of receiving complete documentation.
  • FlorInnce is not liable for any damage costs that exceed the security deposit amount, or for any damage where no security deposit was collected. Where damages exceed the deposit (or no deposit applies), it is the host's sole responsibility to pursue the traveler directly through civil legal channels. FlorInnce may provide booking records and documentation to support such proceedings upon valid request.
  • FlorInnce does not act as an insurer, guarantor, or arbitrator of property damage claims. FlorInnce's determination of deposit release is based solely on the documentation submitted and does not constitute a legal finding of liability.

Travelers are advised that intentional damage to a listed property may constitute criminal destruction of property under applicable state law, separate from any civil claim the host may bring. FlorInnce cooperates with law enforcement investigations where required by valid legal process.

Pet and Smoking Policy Violations

All hosts are required to disclose their pet and smoking policies on their listing prior to activation. Travelers are bound by the disclosed policies of any listing they book. Violation of a host's disclosed pet or smoking policy constitutes grounds for immediate booking cancellation by FlorInnce, subject to the following:

  • Upon verified violation, FlorInnce reserves the right to cancel the booking immediately. The cancellation is not eligible for CIG, SCP, or ACP protection. Any unpaid rent, permitted penalties, and documented damages may be charged or deducted from the security deposit to the extent allowed by applicable law and the booking terms.
  • The host has 14 days from the date of violation discovery (for violations during the stay) or from the checkout date (for violations discovered post-stay) to submit an itemized damage claim with photo documentation.
  • Damages up to the security deposit amount (if applicable) will be released to the host based on the submitted claim. Damages exceeding the deposit, or where no deposit applies, are the host's responsibility to pursue directly.
  • Undisclosed pets or smoking that result in damage do not entitle the traveler to any refund of the security deposit, regardless of the amount of documented damage.

Safety Data Disclaimer — CrimeGrade API

FlorInnce displays neighborhood safety scores on listings sourced from the CrimeGrade API, a third-party data provider. These scores are provided solely as a convenience to help travelers make more informed decisions when selecting housing. The following limitations apply:

  • Safety scores are generated by CrimeGrade and are based on publicly available crime data. FlorInnce does not independently verify, audit, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data.
  • A favorable safety score does not guarantee the safety of any neighborhood, street, building, or individual property. Crime can occur in any location regardless of score.
  • Safety scores are informational only. FlorInnce makes no representation that any listed property is safe, crime-free, or suitable for any particular traveler.
  • FlorInnce is not liable for any harm, loss, injury, or death arising from a traveler's reliance on or interpretation of safety score data displayed on the platform.
  • Travelers are encouraged to conduct their own independent research into the safety of any neighborhood before booking.

FlorInnce does not guarantee the availability of any listing or the successful matching of any traveler with housing for any given assignment. While FlorInnce makes reasonable efforts to maintain an accurate and available inventory of verified listings, FlorInnce is not liable for any failure to secure housing, loss of assignment, or other damages arising from the unavailability of listings on the platform.

Guest Policy

Travelers may not permit overnight guests unless the host's listing explicitly permits them.
